How do I care for seedlings on arrival?

Seedlings should be planted immediately upon arrival. If planting is delayed for a few days, find a cool, dark place to store your boxes. Delays in planting seedlings beyond a few days can deteriorate seedling quality.

Remember, your seedling has been stored in a freezer over the winter. Prolonged exposure to warmer temperatures will cause seedlings to start leafing out. Your planting success will increase if seedlings can be planted immediately, while they're still dormant.
